My name is Mike Johnson. I live just north of London and I work in tech. I am from the north of England.
I grew up in the north of Cumbria, and studied Law in the north-east where I lived and worked for some years afterwards. After a very brief stay in West Yorkshire I moved to London in 2014 for a new job at a company called DeepMind Technologies. DeepMind is now owned by Google. I worked for DeepMind, DeepMind Health, Google Health, and finally on Google's traffic SRE team looking after DNS and load balancers. I recently left Google after nine years
